Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.

  20. Provide Consultation and Advice to Others - Providing guidance and expert advice to management or other groups on technical, systems-, or process-related topics.
  21. Coaching and Developing Others - Identifying the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.
  22. Other duties as assigned.

Qualification:

  1. BA in any fields, Home Economics graduation and cooking diploma from recognized institutes would be preferred.
  2. Age over 25 years
  3. At least 3 years experiences in cooking/teaching
  4. Passion in teaching kids and cooking
  5. Job requires being reliable, responsible, dependable, and fulfilling obligations.
  6. Job requires maintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger, and avoiding aggressive behavior, even in very difficult situations.
  7. Fluent in English is required (teaching in English)
  8. Be able to work 6 days per week especially Saturday & Sunday

  1. Teach and take care of children aged between 2-12 years old focusing on developing the core thinking skills (i.e. logical thinking, creative thinking, critical thinking, problem solving, etc.) for children through education toys and various activities.
  2. Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate learning fun learning experience, develop schemes of work and lesson plans, prepare required reports on students’ activities as well as his/her progress and development.
  3. Maintain children’s interest and interaction by providing a fun environment where children “learn through play.” Build/encourage children’s confidence and self-esteem by providing opportunities for leadership as well as teamwork. Reinforce children’s propensity to think freely and encourage them to question that which they don’t understand or agree with.
  4. Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and provides individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student. Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provides knowledgeable center tours to potential members resulting in tour conversions and membership registrations; Assists members to understand membership options, payment plans and types.
  2. Assists center in not only reducing withdrawal numbers and maintaining high member retention, but also growing new membership base by addressing member concerns and needs as appropriate;
  3. Identifies additional fee-based programs and activities of potential interest to members leading to additional sales revenue (e.g. Juno Genius, Brain Adventure, etc.).
  4. Provides direct delivery at the Membership Sales desk, modeling excellence in both sales and service. Performs duties of a Membership Sales Staff in an exemplary manner as required by work volumes and scheduling needs.
  5. Ensures that personal and team targets are met and/or exceeded; Maintains Juno Park standards and is a positive role model for our Mission, Vision and Commitment to Service.
  6. Makes decisions and solves problems regarding membership sales and service functions, membership accounts, members concerns, and members’ behavior. Assists members in resolving past due accounts, identifying options and referring potential qualified members to team leader/supervisor for membership assistance.
  7. Participates as a supportive member of the Sales and Service team; remains flexible in regards to scheduling needs and understands key times for the team including peak times of the day, days, weeks, seasonal changes and unexpected changes in member patterns.
  8. With a view to the stages of change, establishes rapport and engages in effective relationships with prospective members, guests, staff and members. Represents the Association in a professional manner.
  9. Participates in task groups, special assignments, staff and full team meetings and opportunities that further the Association’s mission, vision, strategic initiatives, and best business practices.
  10. Understands and integrates the value of core thinking skills and life’s fun, learn it and imparts this knowledge and belief upon staff and members. Actively participates in philanthropy activities including: working with communities, identifying opportunities for member involvement and providing leadership to member at the Sales Desk; assisting in activities and special events with goal of achieving individual, team and center targets towards Juno Park Kids campaign.

Qualification:

  1. Minimum of 2 years sales and customer service experience, preferably in a membership/client based environment
  2. Some post secondary education in sales, marketing, promotions, retail management, or related field an asset
  3. Previous experience in promotional sales including demonstrated skills in identifying potential customer needs and interests leading to successful up-sales, renewals, etc.
  4. Familiarity with personal member and payment info, including knowledge of privacy and protection requirements of such info
  5. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with members, employers, staff and volunteers; excellent written communication skills.
  6. Flexibility regarding assigned working hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
  7. Experience and sensitivity in dealing with members of different cultural and racial backgrounds, 
including visible and non-visible dimensions of diversity
  8. Membership experience an asset
